There is hope for the younger generation yet. In an attempt to raise awareness regarding domestic abuse, an Italian news agency, Fanpage, produced a video that went viral. The video depicts young boys who were asked to hit a young girl. The response from the young, to-be men, was encouraging.

The video begins with a reporter asking the boys a few basic questions regarding age and aspirations. Eventually, Martina is introduced and the innocent boys are asked what they like about her.

After a number of responses from her shoes to her eyes, the narrator instructs the boys to make Martina laugh with a funny face. Eventually, the boys are told to slap Martina.

Stunned, the boys stand around not sure of what to do next. In their hesitation, the narrator encourages them to slap Martina. After a brief pause, the boys stand their ground and continue to say “no.”

Check out the video here to see why they refused to hit Martina.
