As we continue our BC Giveaway Series with BC Dairy Association, we'll spotlight two more local Okanagan businesses through a series of giveaways that will be featured on the @KelownaNow Instagram page.

This giveaway series will highlight small dairy processors, cheese crafters, ice cream makers and other local businesses that use BC dairy to make their products. Many local businesses have been significantly impacted by the disruption of COVID-19 and need our support more than ever. These contests will give you the chance to win delicious local products while showing support for small businesses in the community.

To further support communities, BC’s dairy farmers will also donate $1 for every contest entry to Food Banks BC up to $20,000 (inclusive of the entire campaign).

For their fourth giveaway, let's have a look at Cheese on Wheels.

Cheese on Wheels is the brain-child of David Beaudoin and Mayla Janzen. Their intention is to bring awareness to the endless possibilities produced in BC and bring cheese directly to your door.

By creating a viable way to choose how you can buy our own cheese and support our region towards a better tomorrow, David, who has been dubbed ‘The Cheese Poet’ and known locally as ‘The Squeaky Cheese Guy,’  has become recognized as the one and only ‘Canadian Cheese Ambassador.’ He also works as a cheese expert and consultant with the Dairy Farmers of Canada, educating many retailers on the industry and how to understand the benefits and handling practices of working with cheese.

Both David and Mayla are proud to be Canadian and they will surely educate and entertain you with our amazing world-class cheeses. Come meet David and Mayla in Lake Country or order Cheese on Wheels. Better yet, enter to win the delicious Great Dairy BC Cheese Pack.

Included in the Great Dairy BC Cheese Pack are five kinds of cheese made right here in BC! You'll also receive a selection of accompaniments that have been bundled up in a reusable cooler bag that's picnic-ready.

If you'd like to win one of the 20 Great Dairy BC Cheese Packs, visit @KelownaNow on Instagram to locate the recent contest posting and follow the contest rules.
