As we continue our BC Giveaway Series with BC Dairy Association, we'll spotlight four more local Okanagan businesses through a series of giveaways that will be featured on the @KelownaNow Instagram page.

This giveaway series will highlight small dairy processors, cheese crafters, ice cream makers and other local businesses that use BC dairy to make their products. Many local businesses have been significantly impacted by the disruption of COVID-19 and need our support more than ever. These contests will give you the chance to win delicious local products while showing support for small businesses in the community.

To further support communities, BC’s dairy farmers will also donate $1 for every contest entry to Food Banks BC up to $20,000 (inclusive of the entire campaign).

For their second giveaway, let's have a look at D Dutchmen Dairy.

For over 40 years, D Dutchmen Dairy has remained a popular stop among tourists travelling through Sicamous. And with 62 different flavours of ice cream along with a delicious variety of artisan cheese, it's pretty easy to understand why.

Owned and operated by the Dewitt family, they built their success off the word-of-mouth that their products, which include milk, whipped cream, sour cream and more are, D delightful.

An Okanagan staple, D Dutchmen Dairy products can be found at local retailers through the region at stores such as Save-on-Foods, Natures Fare, Quality Greens, IGA, Nesters Market, Buy-Low, Askews and Butcher Boys.

But if you want the true D Dutchmen Dairy experience, to visit with the farm animals or relax in the gazebo while enjoying one of their tasty treats, you'll need to make the trip to visit their farm located in Sicamous at 1321 Maier Road. Opening hours: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm every day of the week.

Want to try a sampler pack of all the delicious dairy delights D Dutchmen has to offer?

Enter to win one of ten prize packs which include an assortment of 22 D Dutchmen Dairy products; milk, cream, butter, cheese, and ice cream (pictured below) by clicking over to @KelownaNow on Instagram.

Once you're there, locate the recent contest posting and follow the contest rules to enter. But hurry! The contest runs from June 30th until July 6th, 2020, ending precisely at 11:59 pm and is open to all eligible Kelowna residents.

Each prize has an estimated retail value of $150.
