In this episode of Cseking In, we sat down with Myrna Selzler Park, entrepreneur, consultant and most recently the creator of BABz, a company that produces plant-based nutritious, easy-to-prepare, shelf-stable food products. As a force of nature in the business world, we were lucky enough to hear, in her words, what made her many businesses over the years, including BABz, such impressive successes.

Myrna’s business career has always moved at the speed of sound, and when you listen to her speak about her entrepreneurial endeavours, you’ll understand why. Not only is she savvy, knowledgeable and experienced in many industries, she has a fiercely positive attitude and an undeniable passion for changing industries, lives, and the world.

One of her favourite mantras? “Everything will work out in the end. If it’s not working out, you’re not at the end yet,” she says.

It’s this determination to push through with an idea even if she doesn’t have all the answers yet that has helped her thrive in the business world. When asked how she was able to easily solve the problem of tasteless, low-protein plant-based meat alternatives when no one else in the industry could, she shrugs and says “I think it’s because I don’t know rules particularly well.”

Watch the full episode to learn about the array of business ventures Myrna has taken on and the mindset and attitude that she says made each and every one of them a success.
