Here in the Okanagan, one thing we love to do every summer is go on a wine tour! And while we still can, it's become a slightly different experience this year. So with great timing, the BC Wine Industry (BCWI) has launched the Wines of BC Explorer app to help you discover BC Wine Country at the tap of an app. Plus anyone who has signed up for the app could win a $25 gift certificate from a beautiful BC Winery - but more on that below.

With more than 234 BC wineries now open for tastings with new rules of engagement in place, the app offers up-to-date information on new and elevated winery experiences, pet-friendly winery lists, wineries with restaurants, a view and the added ability to see winery accommodations. It also directs wine lovers to their nearest liquor store, private liquor store, BCWI BC Wine Store or winery retail online store to purchase their favourite wines.

With the new, Wines of BC Explorer app, you can discover what you love and take a taste test to uncover personalized expert recommendations on wines and wineries you are going to love.

You'll also be able to discover exciting local BC wines and experiences at locations near you. From light and refreshing rosé, sparkling and white wines, to bold and sun-ripened red wines, British Columbia wineries have something for you.

What you can look forward to with the Wines of BC Explorer app:

To explore your own backyard and discover new exclusive BC wines and winery experiences, download the Wines of BC Explorer app to help you plan your trip and #SipLoveLocal all summer long while supporting local BC wineries.
