It also directs wine lovers to their nearest liquor store, private liquor store, BCWI BC Wine Store or winery retail online store to purchase their favourite wines.
With the new, Wines of BC Explorer app, you can discover what you love and take a taste test to uncover personalized expert recommendations on wines and wineries you are going to love.
You'll also be able to discover exciting local BC wines and experiences at locations near you. From light and refreshing rosé, sparkling and white wines, to bold and sun-ripened red wines, British Columbia wineries have something for you.
What you can look forward to with the Wines of BC Explorer app:
- Easy to use! Quickly find lists of popular and personalized content, such as wines organized by type, winery or location.
- Every wine and winery in BC are in the app. No matter where you are in the province, you can find wines and wineries that are right for you.
- Personalized recommendations provide the best BC wine for your taste buds! The taste test has over 80% success in suggesting wines you will love based on your flavour profile.
- Weekly chances to win a $25 gift certificate to a BC winery.
- This bonus incentive will be drawn each week from now until August 31, 2020. One name will be randomly drawn from the Wines of BC Explorer app users to win a $25 gift certificate to a BC winery to visit or order wine direct online. The gift certificate will be for a new BC winery every week so the sooner you download the app more chances you will have to win.
