If you’re ready to be a hero for Kelowna charities then join the upcoming 100 Heroes Kelowna event on Tuesday, April 18 and experience an action-packed evening filled with fun, socializing and making a difference in the community!

Twice a year, 100 Heroes Kelowna brings together a community of big-hearted individuals who want to give back to local charities in need. How it works is Heroes register and contribute $100 for which they receive one poker chip, then the night kicks off with socializing and enjoying the atmosphere until the activities begin.

Three local charities take turns presenting their causes for five minutes each, highlighting their unique contributions to the community. After the presentations, Heroes cast their votes using their poker chips to determine which charity will receive the $10k+ collected during the evening.

The event is held at Red Bird Brewing Inc., one of Kelowna's top breweries. Attendees can enjoy delicious food and drinks provided by Red Bird while mingling with like-minded individuals who share a passion for positively impacting their community. And for those who want to keep the night going, live music begins at 7:30 pm.

100 Heroes Kelowna is not your typical charity event. It's run by a core team of passionate volunteers, with all proceeds going directly to supporting local charities in Kelowna. And even if you can't attend the event, you can still contribute to the winning charity after the event and help raise even more funds.

One of the highlights of the April 18th event is the co-emcee, Shannon Christensen, the Founder and Chief Vision Officer of Mamas for Mamas, a grassroots project-turned national non-profit.

Christensen is a philanthropic force in Kelowna, working hard to reduce the negative impact of poverty on low-income mothers and their families. Her presence at the event is sure to inspire attendees to become heroes for their community.

Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of something truly special. Join the 100 Heroes Kelowna event on April 18, become a hero for Kelowna charities and have a blast while doing it!
