Kelowna’s Glenmore neighbourhood has been growing quickly over the last few years. With quiet residential streets surrounded by mountains, lots of natural beauty, great schools and an increasing number of businesses opening in the area, it’s no surprise that people love calling this area home.

One can spend a full day exploring Glenmore by getting some good exercise, taking in breathtaking views, eating lots of tasty food and enjoying what the Okanagan has to offer, no matter the time of year.

The next time you’re looking for something fun to do in Glenmore, give this itinerary a try!

Start with some exercise

A little exercise is a great way to wake up your body and get your heart pumping!

Start your day with a pilates class at NeuMovement. Pilates uses a combination of strengthening, stretching and balancing to improve your overall health and will set a great tone for the rest of your day.

If swinging clubs is more your style, play a round of golf at the stunning Kelowna Golf & Country Club instead!

Breakfast at Company Kitchen & Bar

All that exercise probably worked up an appetite. Treat yourself to a nice, big breakfast at Company Kitchen & Bar — you’ve earned it!

Company Kitchen & Bar offers a tasty weekend brunch, starting at 9 a.m.

Hike up Dilworth Mountain

It wouldn’t be a perfect day in the Okanagan without a nice hike and some beautiful views.

Dilworth Mountain offers a variety of hiking trails for all levels, and some of the best views of Kelowna that you can find. There’s also a small playground which is perfect for the kiddos!

Lunch at Dozo House

Dozo House is the perfect place to stop for a lighter lunch. Enjoy fresh sushi, comforting ramen or hearty donburi at their quaint restaurant.

If Japanese food isn’t your thing, Satang Thai Cuisine is right next door!

Take a seasonal adventure

One of the best things about living in a four-season playground is getting to enjoy different activities throughout the year! The next item on the itinerary depends on the season.

In the summer, head to Glenmore Garden Market to pick out some fresh fruits and veggies from local farms. It simply tastes better when it’s grown by your own neighbours!

In the fall, get in the Halloween spirit at the Kelowna Corn Maze. Walk through the spooky maze, warm up by the fire pit and if you’re lucky, you may be able to catch a family-friendly show at their outdoor theatre.

In the winter, head to Jack Roberston Park for some good ol’ fashioned sledding. Don’t forget the thermos of hot cocoa to help you stay warm!

In the spring, take a stroll around Redlich Pond. If you’re lucky, you might even get to see some turtles!

Evening walk or bike ride through Brandt’s Creek Linear Park

Brandt’s Creek Linear Park is a perfect little dose of nature right in the middle of Glenmore. This trail is the perfect place for a quick, nature-inspired walk or bike ride.

Enjoy a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle without having to venture far at all!

Dinner and a drink at Brandt’s Creek Pub

Conveniently enough, this trail leads right to one of Glenmore’s most popular restaurants, Brandt’s Creek Neighbourhood Pub.

With a pub-style menu and different specials for every day of the week, it’s a great place to grab a bite and a beverage, either inside or on the patio.

Phew! That’s a lot to cover in a day, but it goes to show how much this burgeoning neighbourhood has to offer.
