With such stunning scenery, beautiful weather and phenomenal restaurants, this is the perfect place to do it.
Since summer is right around the corner, Tourism Vernon is eager to share this list of Vernon’s top patios that are a must-visit so you can have #TheBestDayEver!
All of these patios are unique and truly exceptional. Vernon boasts patios with locations ranging from a golf course to an orchard.
Which one will you visit first this patio season?
Range Lounge and Grill
If you want a stunning view over a championship golf course and down the valley, this is the place to be.
The Range Lounge and Grill at Predator Ridge is an upscale, casual restaurant with a spectacular and sizable patio. Not to mention, the new-age fusion cuisine featured on the menu is delicious.
Globally inspired but created with locally sourced ingredients as much as possible, every dish is exceptionally crafted to perfection and intended to be enjoyed with the iconic view.
Dessert is a must-try. The Range’s nationally-acclaimed pastry chef always has something new and mouth-watering on the menu!
The Phoenix Steakhouse & Bar
Dining on a beautiful rooftop patio with your friends and family has never been a better experience than at The Pheonix Steakhouse & Bar.
The food is nothing short of exceptional. The menu features AAA Angus Reserve Beef, certified Ocean Wise seafood, fine local wines and some of the best scotch you can find.
The steak is top of the line at the restaurant, but you can also try a lamb rack, lobster feast or a signature burger to enjoy on the fantastic patio.
Freddy’s Patio
Did you know that there is a patio located at The Rise’s 10th tee?
Golfers can look forward to stopping in for a drink at Freddy’s Patio this season. It’s an architecturally stunning building and patio making it the perfect pit stop during your round of golf.
Sip on some draft beer from Okanagan Spring on the terrific patio or grab a quick bite before heading back out on the course. The daily Happy Hour starts at 3 pm and ends at 6 pm, but it’s open all day long.
Marten Brew Pub
Located in the charming downtown Vernon, Marten Brew Pub offers delicious flights, flagship on tap varieties and all kinds of seasonal craft beer selections to enjoy on their awesome patio.
You’ll feel at home on their patio. It’s surrounded by tons of local shops so it’s the perfect place to stop for a quick drink and meal as you venture through downtown Vernon. During July and August, 2 blocks of 30th Ave will be pedestrian-only with some fun activities and events going on just next to Marten Brew Pub.
The brewery’s expertise is in creating full-bodied craft beers with no preservatives or additives, and each brew is naturally carbonated and unfiltered!
BX Press Cidery & Orchard
This local cidery and orchard is truly one-of-a-kind, as will be its soon-to-open patio and restaurant!
Each cider at BX Press Cidery & Orchard is pressed, fermented and bottled in-house with its own apples picked from the orchard. There is a wide range of ciders to choose from in different categories such as Fruit or Botanical flavoured, or a Barrel Aged cider.
The new patio and restaurant plan to open this summer right on the orchard! You can look forward to the Friday patio series with live music, wood-fired pizza and drinks in a relaxing atmosphere.

1516 Pub & Grill
Vernon’s newest patio addition will be launching this summer and it’s guaranteed to catch your attention.
Located right on Okanagan Lake at the former Outboard Pub location, 1516 Pub & Grill will be opening up their restaurant soon which features a beautiful lakeside patio. It will also double as a wedding venue!
The view is undeniably breathtaking. Sitting on the shore of the stunning, crystal blue lake and overlooking the surrounding area, it is the perfect summer sipping spot.
