Ryan Lund, the owner/President of Rutland Glass, reflects on his experience residing in Rutland and the transformative changes the community has undergone throughout the years.

He highlights not just economic changes but also the development of an even stronger community bond, showcasing a deeper connection among its residents.

"It has always been a tight knit group of private/local business owners that support each other and I've always been keen on that and appreciated that mentality,” Lund shares.

The collaborative spirit among Rutland's business owners has been a driving force behind the community's positive transformation.

Rutland has battled with a negative connotation over the years, a misconception he believes is no longer.

When asked about what makes Rutland special, Lund responds, "likeminded business owners and the kindness of the community pulling together to push our local growth in an organic direction."

It's this shared vision and commitment to fostering local connections that make Rutland a unique and thriving place.

One of Lunds favorite memories in Rutland was playing hockey at Rutland Arena; however he was not fond of running up Hartman Hill.

Looking towards the future, Lund hopes that Rutland's sectors continue to grow organically, with a clear vision to "strengthen our support locally within our community and build a better Rutland for us all."
