A new festival is coming to Kelowna, and it’s the perfect event to send off yet another amazing Okanagan summer.

Denim on the Diamond is all about local eats, drinks, music and lots of fun times. The one-day festival is a community collaboration with a goal to not only be the party of the summer, but to showcase amazing Okanagan artists and businesses, as well.

Festival goers can spend the day enjoying live entertainment, games, food and drinks. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket and sit back and relax (or kick off your shoes and do some dancing) as you enjoy live acts by Chad Brownlee, Jojo Mason, Devon Coyote, Tiger Moon and Ben Klick.

Feeling a little competitive? Challenge your pals to a friendly game of corn hole, bocce, spikeball, jumbo jenga and more. Plus, attendees will have a chance to win flights from Pacific Coastal Airlines!

Fuel up with tasty food from Surf Side California (if you haven’t tried their fish tacos yet, you really haven’t lived), Crasian, Dunnenzies Pizza and QB Gelato. Wash it down with refreshing bevys provided by BNA Brewing, Kitsch Wines, Dirty Laundry Vineyard and BC Tree Fruits. Need an afternoon pick me up? Canoe Coffee Roasters has got your back.

“By supporting Denim on the Diamond you are saying you love Kelowna, you love supporting local businesses, and you want to party here in your own town,” said Mitch Carefoot, one of the organizers of the event.

“If Kelowna comes out to vote with your feet and knock this one out of the park, the Denim crew promises to put on more great shows and attract more great artists," expressed Kurt Jory, another organizer of Denim on the Diamond.

The organizers of Denim on the Diamond are planning on selling out the event, and with good reason, as you’ll learn from the promo video below:

So act fast, Kelowna, before tickets sell out! Come out and soak up the last bit of Okanagan summer in the best way possible — with good music, good drinks, good food and good company. Oh, and don't forget to wear your favourite denim!

The event takes place on Saturday, September 1st 2018 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. at King’s Stadium in downtown Kelowna.
