By living in the Okanagan, you are almost obligated to get out of the house and experience all of the amazing activities our region has to offer. Wine tours included of course.

While wine tours are always a great time, it’s difficult to match the unique experiences to be had at The Vibrant Vine winery. They are one of the first wineries worldwide to introduce a new pager system to completely eliminate waiting in line — explore the winery at your own leisure and return to one of the nine tasting bars once you have been paged.

Self guided 3D wine tasting experience

Upon entering, grab a pair of 3D glasses, a brochure and check out all the beautiful artwork on the walls, bottles, sweaters and much more. Everywhere you look, amazing artwork is just waiting to be discovered.

The elaborate, 3D artwork will pop out at you and never fails to amaze. With over 50 pieces of  intricate designs and bold, colourful pieces, Phil Lewis truly encapsulates what the winery is all about — an exciting and vibrant locale full of activities and life. This makes the winery a unique and must-see place for all.

Taste and snack at your pleasure

There are multiple tasting bars at The Vibrant Vine with Tasting Hosts from all around the world, which means it won't be long before your taste buds are trying some delicious varietals, all without having to wait in line ups. Discover your favourite red, white or rose wine while enjoying a beautiful day up at the winery.

Need a bite to eat with your wine? You won’t have to look far. The Vibrant Vine has various chips and dips, charcuterie boards, their famous Woopsicles and much more to provide a yummy snack to top off a wonderful day.

Woopsicles are adult popsicles, sorry kids, and they’re made from the Woops wine that’s also offered at The Vibrant Vine — a perfect, refreshing treat for a hot summer day.

Depending on availability, all food items may vary — for more information on what food and wine you can expect, click here

Guided cheese and wine pairing

Speaking of delicious food, from Friday to Sunday you can experience a cheese and wine pairing up at the winery. Taste five different wines paired beautifully with five cheeses while learning how they pair them.

If you’re looking to learn more about wine, and taste some of course, a Guided Sensory Tour with Paired Charcuterie may be for you.

Plenty of lively events

If you’re looking for a winery that offers a wide range of events to keep your summer interesting then look no further. In August alone there are events that range from jazz music to scarf making and yoga with wine — there’s something for everyone so don’t miss out!

Phantom of the Villa will be taking place on August 22, 23 and 24. This will be the final performance of this amazing show so don’t hesitate to grab some tickets and enjoy the show!

On August 16, head to The Vibrant Vine for the Outdoor Jazz Night and witness some amazingly talented, local musicians while enjoying wine from the bar. It seems that there is always something new to experience up at the winery so keep your eyes peeled on their website for new, upcoming events.

Bubbles and petals tour

If you’re looking for a relaxing time for reflection, inspiration and stress relief, The Gardens at the Villa are an amazing way to unwind. Beautiful examples of Okanagan flora are abundant throughout the garden.

“The Lewis family, originally from Wales, wanted to embrace theirnew home and culture in a very Canadian way,” said Jess Pattinson, Food, Beverage and Events Manager at The Vibrant Vine. “What better way to do this than with maple trees! Strolling along Maple Avenue, you will see the terracotta red tiles of the Villa’s rooftop in the distance. Marion’s vision is the maples will in time create a beautiful archway over the main drive.”

Bring your guests

If you have family or friends visiting from out of town, you can’t go wrong by bringing them to The Vibrant Vine winery. This is a must-see winery for any visitors and locals alike. There are plenty of experiences just waiting to be had. Test your taste buds on some delicious, aromatic wine, discover the wonders of 3D art, attend amazing events and much more up at the winery.

Currently there is construction on McCulloch Road, but instead, you can head down East Kelowna Road, take a couple turns and voila — you’re at The Vibrant Vine. The detour is only a couple minutes out of the way, barely even one song on the radio. For more information or any inquiries, contact them here.

The Vibrant Vine has been embracing the Okanagan and offers plenty of unique events, wine, food and 3D artwork that is sure to amaze visitors to Kelowna and residents alike.
