Going camping this summer? Looking for delicious recipes to make on your camp stove or on the campfire? We’ve got you covered!

These fun recipes need only a few ingredients and some tin foil and they will keep everyone happy, despite any rain, sunburns, or mosquitos that might come up.

Honey Garlic Butter Salmon in Foil

Turn a filet of salmon into a melt-in-your-mouth gourmet dinner! Simply mix butter with honey, garlic and herbs, and drizzle over your fish.

Tightly wrap with foil, and bake on medium-high heat until your salmon is cooked just the way you like it. It works with most types of fish, or prawns, too.

Hawaiian Chicken in Foil

With pineapple, peppers, and BBQ sauce, this summer chicken dish is full of flavour and so easy to put together.

To make things even simpler, you could marinate the chicken in the sauce ingredients, then toss into some tinfoil to cook when you’re ready. Pop onto a burger bun, or eat with rice. So simple!

Shrimp Boil Foil Packets

Have you heard of a shrimp boil with sausage, corn, potatoes, and lots of Old Bay seasoning?

This recipe uses the same flavours but they’re steamed in single portion foil packets on your grill, oven, or camp stove. You’ll love the Cajun spice and quick cooking time (just 15 minutes)!

Loaded Baked Potatoes in Foil

This recipe is cheap, hearty, and vegetarian (and could be made vegan too). Simply cook potatoes in foil, then add with your favourite toppings like sour cream, cheese, green onion, or even bacon if you’re not going the vegetarian route.

Grab a fork and dive straight into the potato goodness!

Veggie Foil Packs with Grilled Mangoes

Take your favourite seasonal vegetables, top with garlic and seasoning, and steam in tinfoil. While those are cooking, grill mango cheeks until charred, then sprinkle with chipotle seasoning and some lime juice.

If you want to add a meat protein, your favourite sausage is a perfect choice!

French Toast Baked in Tinfoil

To make a luscious breakfast with a minimal cooking setup, simply wrap in tinfoil a loaf of sliced bread soaked in egg, milk, & cinnamon, and bake on your grill until cooked, toasty, and golden! Top with your favourite seasonal fruit and maple syrup (of course).

Banana Boat S’mores

This classic riff on s’mores has been a campfire classic for years. Simply cut open a banana (peel on) and stuff with chocolate and mini marshmallows. Wrap tightly with foil, and cook on the grill or open fire until ooey gooey and delicious. Eat with a spoon straight out of the banana!

Camping or not, you can keep things simple and maximize your BBQ this summer. #TreatYoSelf to some delicious eats in the great outdoors!
