Several wildfires burning in California are forcing the evacuation of thousands.
Many structures have already been destroyed in the four blazes burning in the state.

The Thomas fire in Ventura County, the Rye fire, the Skirball fire, and the Creek fire in Los Angeles County.
On Wednesday, December 6th, Los Angeles Fire Department reported a brush fire had started near the Northbound 405 Freeway. Named the Skirball fire, LAFD say that upon arrival this morning around 4:52 a.m., firefighters found six acres burning uphill.

The fire is burning near the Getty Museum, home to many European artworks, and has closed the 405 Freeway northbound.

The latest update says there is currently 350 LAFD firefighter fighting the fire, which is currently listed at 150 acres with 0% containment.
At least four structures have been damaged in the fire.
The Creek fire, burning in Sylmar, started yesterday at around 3:44 a.m. and is currently estimated at more than 11,000 acres with at least 11 homes destroyed. No loss of life has been reported, but three LAFD firefighters have been injured.
