The world looked on in horror last week as a London high-rise burned to the ground with dozens of people trapped inside.
The death toll has now reached 79 people and is expected to climb into the triple digits by the time all is said and done.
As emergency crews continue to investigate the fire and slowly search the building in an attempt to recover bodies, images of the gutted building have been released be the London Metropolitan Police.
The haunting pictures show just how badly the fire ripped through the high-rise, with everything in sight being turned into ash.
