Typhoon Mangkhut is making its way through Asia and is now impacting Hong Kong and moving across mainland China.
City officials in Hong Kong raised the storm alert to T10, which is the highest level of alert.
Highest respect to HK’s firefighters going through street to street right now cutting and cleaning fallen trees and brunches in the middle of #TyhoonMangkhut This is terrifying but #HK will be back to normal tomorrow. I ❤️ this city. pic.twitter.com/mkVhBFO305

The storm has caused roofs to be torn off houses, trees to be uprooted and communities to be destroyed.
Winds are estimated to be moving at 200 kilometres an hour.
I’ve seen pretty bad weather. Nothing like this, even in videos. #HongKong #TyhoonMangkhut #ClimateChange pic.twitter.com/PD1gJLbCng
