Another royal baby has been born into the world!

Media from all over the world gathered outside the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London this morning ahead of the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's third child.

Kate Middleton delivered a son at 11:01 a.m. this morning, local time. According to Kensington Palace, the baby weighs 8 lbs 7 oz. The mother and son are reportedly both doing very well.

“The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news,” says Kensington Palace.

Theresa May, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, also sent warm welcomes to the family.

“My warmest congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their baby boy. I wish them great happiness in the future,” May said.

The couple has two other children, George and Charlotte.
