Shooting at High School North of Seattle

UPDATE: 1:35 p.m. 

Marysville Police have confirmed that two people are dead following the shooting at the Marysville Pilchuck High School. The shooter is confirmed deceased as well as a student from the school. More information is expected to be released from police Friday afternoon.

A school shooting is unfolding north of Seattle and several students have been wounded and sent to hospital.

According to a student in the school at Marysville Pilchuck High School four to six students were shot in the cafeteria. Early reports from the student, Austin, say that the shooter walked into the lunch room, pulled out a gun and started shooting at students sitting down.

The High School is located near Everett, Washington and a nurse from Providence Regional Hospital confirms that three patients have arrived with gunshot wounds, including one to the head.

According to local media reports the gunman is believed to be dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
