Are you looking for fun and free family events to attend this summer?

If you don’t mind lying under the stars and enjoying a family-friendly flick, then you should join Prospera throughout the summer for a free movie in the park.

For the seventh year in a row, the local BC credit union will be hosting Cinema Under the Stars: a series of movie nights from Metro Vancouver to the Okanagan in support of some amazing charity partners.

The free movies will begin at dusk, but the volunteers will be taking donations throughout the evening.

Prior to the film, families can enjoy a bouncy castle and other fun activities as well.

The free films will be playing throughout British Columbia over the summer, and will be hitting Penticton and Vernon in September.

On Friday, September 18th, Inside Out will be playing in Penticton at Okanagan Lake Park, and on Saturday the 19th, the flick will be playing again in Vernon at Polson Park.

Donations garnered from these two events will support Penticton and Area Access Society, as well as the Vernon Dragon Boat Society and Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation.

For the full list of movie times and city locations, visit the Prospera website.
