Yet another music video filmed in Kelowna is gaining national attention, this one is being dubbed as the new summer single.

Got Myself by John Dough was produced thanks to the funding through the Telus initiative Storyhive and features the city in the backdrop of the video. Directed by Steve Van Diest and produced by Shaw-t and Zaro Vega, the video is receiving tremendous feedback from viewers. The Alberta-born hip-hop, pop artist is just 22-years-old and currently working on his upcoming EP.

On the water and in a local hotel, Dough is featured singing his song throughout Kelowna and area. The video has received better feedback than another music video also recently shot in Kelowna by a duo of Canadian hip-hop artists.

The positive message in the lyrics and video seem to be a hit with locals. Have a look for yourself and comment with your thoughts below.
