Jimmy Kimmel had the opportunity to announce the next Bachelorette on Wednesday night and it the new star is already making strides.

Rachel Lindsay will be the first black woman to be featured on the Bachelorette.

This ended up being quite the spoiler to fans who are still watching the Bachelor, where Lindsay hasn’t yet been eliminated.

On Kimmel, she shrugged it off, saying they decided to tell the world considering they are just a few weeks out from filming.

“I’m ready to find love, find a husband,” she said.

The attorney said she’s looking for a funny man with a great smile.

“If you know anybody out there who needs to apply, sign up, go ahead and get started.”

Lindsay said she was approached to star in the next Bachelorette soon after she was eliminated off the Bachelor. The new season is set to air in the spring.
