Ever since she stole the show at her big sister's wedding in the 'who wore it best' category, all eyes have been on Pippa Middleton, watching and waiting for who could step up to the plate and marry her.

On Saturday, May 20th, Pippa Middleton tied the knot to James Matthews at St. Mark's church in Englefield, near Reading, Berkshire.

While it is still known as the society wedding of the year, unlike Kate's royal wedding, Pippa's affair was far more scaled down - almost resembling a typical English country wedding. Almost.

So who is her new groom, James Matthews?

He's an incredibly wealthy hedge fund manager.

That may sound like Middleton made a fairly predictable choice as a socialite.

But Mathews also likes his share of fun and adventure.

Matthews is a former British professional racing driver and even won a few titles.

In 1994, he won the British Formula Renault Championship for Manor Motorsport.

That same year, he won the Eurocup Formula Renault.

Born in 1975, Matthews is also heir to the Scottish title of Laird of Glen Affric, a 10,000-acre estate with a massive hunting lodge.

This means Middleton will then take on the title, Lady of Glen Affric.

His father, David Matthews owns the resort, Eden Rock, St Barths.

The two started dating in 2012 but it didn't last long because the age difference was a problem.

After a few other relationships in between, the couple eventually reunited.

Based on their photographed outings, ranging from competing in a ski race in Norway, jogging together on the morning of the wedding, to taking in the latest fashion shows, life for the newly weds should be far from boring.
