Legendary comedian Jerry Lewis dies at age 91

Comedy force of nature Jerry Lewis died on the morning of Sunday, August 20th at his home in Las Vegas.

According to a statement cited by John Katsilometes of the Las Vegas Review Journal, Lewis died at the age of 91 this morning at 9:15 p.m.

Known for his slapstick humour, Lewis is known for his work with Dean Martin in the 1950s.

Lewis is remembered by his fans as not just an extraordinary actor and comedian, but as a force of nature.  

A number of fellow industry friends and fans remember his life and lasting impact.
