If you’re sick of the typical concert experience, Prospera Place has announced a show that may be right up your alley.

Riverdance - The 20th Anniversary World Tour is heading to 45 North American cities in the spring, which includes Kelowna on April 11th.

Riverdance is an innovative and exciting blend of dance, music and song that draws on Irish traditions.

This year’s show, which is composed by Bill Whelan, produced by Moya Doherty and directed by John McColgan, features new costumes, lighting and projections, as well as a new number.

“The success of Riverdance across the whole world has gone beyond our wildest dreams,” said Doherty.

“The fact that the show continues to draw and excite audiences is a tribute to every dancer, singer, musician, staff and crew member who have dedicated themselves to the show.”

Doherty added that this special 20th anniversary tour is to thank audiences worldwide and celebrate their 20-year journey, which has included 11,500 performances.

Tickets for the Kelowna show will go on sale through Select Your Tickets on Friday, November 17th at 10 a.m.

You can also get tickets by visiting the Prospera Place box office in downtown Kelowna.
