On November 29th the UBCO graduate class of Creative Writing 580 is hosting an Open Mic night. The event will take place at the Bumbershoot Theatre. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Doors are set to open at 6 p.m with the entirely of the event running until 8:30 p.m. Those who would like to perform are welcome to sign up before or during the event.

Erin Scott will be the MC for the evening and will feature three guest poets: Fionncara MacEoin, Erin Hiebert, and Melissa Weiss.

Local musician, Victoria Miller, will play the ukulele throughout the evening.

Everyone is more than welcome to perform in a variety of ways, including: singing, poetry reading, comedy or anything your creative mind can come up with!

Public speaking can be intimidating so the CRWR students are there to help everyone through the process.
