Local Country music star in the making, Ben Klick, is starting 2018 right with a brand new single.
In light of his new release, KelownaNow sat down with Klick to talk more about the song, how he got started in Country music, what fans can look forward to and much more.
“Middle of Nowhere” is Klick’s latest single and the third released track for his forthcoming album. The song sends listeners on a journey through the “Middle Of Nowhere” with their sweethearts. Painting the picture of a warm summer night sitting next to a crackling fire while looking up at a sky full of stars.
The song is a testament to Klick’s ability to create a Country hit, with lyrics that have a visceral impact, a melody you cant help but dance to and impressive musicianship that combines the best aspects of the expansive genre from different eras.
Fans can expect a new album to be out in June of 2018, and some local shows around Kelowna this Spring.
