As August comes to a close, we let out a big sigh and get ready to kiss summer 2017 goodbye.

But hold on - don't  let go of your days spent wine tasting or getting some tanning in at the beach just yet. We want you to relive those days once more before you trade your swimsuit in for mittens and scarves.

One thing KelownaNow loves just as much as sharing stories about our community is seeing how the people within it live the Okanagan life.

So, we want to see how you spent your summer in the Okanagan through your photos and videos.  There will be a cool prize for one lucky person that we randomly select.

To enter, you can add photos to the Facebook post, Tag #KelownaNow and #KelownaNowSummer on Instagram, or email them to News@KelownaNow.com

We have included a few shots below to show you what we are looking for:

The rules and the prize:

The prize is a gift certificate for a one night stay in any of the following Prestige Resorts: Sooke, Kelowna, Vernon, Salmon Arm, Golden, Smithers, Radium Hot Springs, Cranbrook, Nelson and Rossland.

The winner must call to make the reservation in advance and gift certificate presented at check-in. The Accommodation gift certificate must be used by the end of 2017.

A $100 Esso gas gift card and $100 in cash for dinner.

The contest is open until 12 p.m. on September 15, 2017. You may enter more than once with different photos and videos.

We will also be doing a very cool rich media article with some of the photos and videos following the contest.

By submitting photos, you are providing KelownaNow the rights to use the photo(s) and video(s) in articles related to the Okanagan Summer contest.
