Kelowna saw some snow overnight, which means Big White saw even more.

The mountain got 7 centimetres of new snow over the last 24 hours, bringing the alpine snow base to 198 cm.

It’s been a great week for Big White, as the mountain has seen 46 cm of new snow over the past seven days, with most of that coming since the weekend.

There’s still snow falling at the resort as well, with limited visibility, light winds and a temperature of -6°C to start the day.

If you’re taking an early weekend and hitting the slopes today, you’ll have the entire mountian to explore as 15 lifts are spinning to service 118 runs.

You don’t have to ditch work, however, because it’s another $10 Friday night, which means you can get a lift ticket, lessons, rentals, a tubing pass and even dinner, all for just $10 each.

That deal begins at 3:30 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. with the Plaza Lift, Bullet Chair and TELUS Park all open under the lights.

Conditions at the mountain are always changing, so check the Big White website for the most up to date snow report.
