It should come as no surprise given the weather we saw in the valley on Wednesday, but there has been no new snow to speak of at Big White over the past 24 hours.

The alpine snow base remains at 255 centimetres.

The resort is currently reporting light winds, scattered clouds and unlimited visibility.

Once again, you can expect packed powder and machine groomed conditions on the hill today.

All 16 lifts and 119 runs are open to the public.

Don’t expect any new snow today or even for most of Friday, but flurries are in the forecast Friday night.

There could be some notable snowfall on Saturday as well.
