Unfortunately, there was no new snow to speak of at Big White over the past 24 hours.

But the alpine snow base still sits at a healthy 255 centimetres thanks to more than seven metres of cumulative snowfall so far this season.

Currently, the resort is reporting calm winds, scattered clouds and unlimited visibility, with “packed powder and machine groomed” conditions.

If you are heading up to the hill today, you can expect all 16 lifts and 119 runs to be open for business.

If you’re hoping for new snow, you’ll have to wait until the weekend, but there is a chance for some flurries on Friday and notable snowfall on Saturday.
