Those familiar with Big White Ski Resort may recognize the cover photo on the latest edition of Ski Magazine.
In the magazine’s annual ‘North America’s Best Resorts’ issue, skier Todd Avison is featured floating down a bed of Big White’s iconic champagne power.
The photo was shot by Geoff Holman and will be viewed by Ski Magazine’s more than 1.5-million readers, considered to be the largest selling ski magazine in the world.
“Special thanks to Katie Balkwill and many of the Big White team members who help get early access to the slopes for Geoff and the models each year,” said Michael J. Ballingall.
“Can’t make the front cover if we don’t get a great shot, can’t get a great shot without the help of the community. For all of you who continue to support our resort, a great big thank you.”
Last week, the summit of Big White was teased with a sprinkling of snow, signaling the incoming of another great winter of riding at the resort.
Those who plan to purchase a season's pass should make sure to take Big White's early bird rate, which is available until Oct. 14.
