It’s snowing lightly up at Big White this morning and the resort is looking forward to more snow in the forecast.

They may be loving the blue skies, but they’re still asking visitors to do a snow dance, as it looks like next week could be a big one for snow.

As of 6:30 a.m., the mountain hasn’t accumulated any new snow over the last 24 hours, leaving the alpine snow base at 89 centimetres.

Today’s high is expected to be around -4C. There are nine lifts open serving a total of 48 runs.

Conditions are always changing on the mountain, so make sure you check their website throughout the day.
