The four-passenger fixed grip Leitner Poma lift will replace Canada’s oldest and most popular triple chair, which was built in 1979 providing 15,868,476 rides. The new lift will increase upload capacity to 2,400 passengers per hour, allowing more skiers and snowboarders to enjoy the amazing terrain on the Powder Chair.

Not only that, but rumour has it Santa will be down in Happy Valley this weekend!

As of 6:30 a.m., the resort has reported 1 cm of new snow in the last 24 hours. The alpine snow base is at 101 cm. The current temperature is -7C under some broken cloud and light winds.

There are nine lifts open serving a total of 53 runs.

The conditions and snow report is constantly changing throughout the day and the best way to stay up to date is by checking the Big White website.
