Big White Ski Resort has announced it will officially open for the season this Thursday, Nov. 22.
The resort will open with three lifts including the Ridge Rocket Express, Plaza Chair and Lara’s Gondola, and three runs including Easy Street, Highway 33 and Hummingbird.
Opening Day will be celebrated with 50% off lift tickets and a party at the base of the Ridge Rocket Express featuring live music, complimentary hot chocolate and lots of giveaways.
The first 500 guests to visit the Ridge Day Lodge will receive a limited edition Opening Day 2018 sticker!
Snow is in the forecast for the mountain this week, however, marginal skiing conditions exist and skiers and snowboarders are asked to use caution remain on open runs only.
For those extra eager to celebrate opening day the very first chairlift of the season will take off at 8:45 a.m.
