The temperature is up at Big White after another day of fresh snowfall.

There are 6 new centimetres of the white stuff on the hill, bringing the seven-day total to 89 cm.

The snow base is 257 cm.

Following some bone-chillingly cold days recently, the resort is reporting a current temperature of -7ºC.

Visibility is limited, skies obscure and winds calm.

There are 117 runs and 14 lifts open.

Big White also wants to remind skiers that Thursday is trivia night (between 7 pm and 9 pm).

On top of that, Thursday is Carnival Night (along with Saturday) at the Village Centre Mall.

There will be popcorn, games, candy floss and much else.
