While the snowfall warnings may bring dread to some, those of you who are avid skiers and snowboarders are likely jumping for joy.

Big White has seen another 16 centimeters of glorious powder top its runs over the last day, bringing the total snowfall since Friday up to 51 cms.

Within the last week, the mountain has welcomed 92 cm of that signature Okanagan powder, bringing the alpine snowbase up to 253 cm and officially opening 117 runs and 16 lifts.

More snow is expected to fall throughout today, making it the perfect Sunday to shred.

As of 8 am it is -8C at the resort with calm winds, light snow and freshly groomed slopes. For up-to-date weather, be sure to take a look at the Daily Snow Report.
