B.C.’s Agriculture Minister did something very unique this week and the photos posted to social media have caused a stir.

Kelowna MLA Norm Letnick recently toured a medical marijuana facility on Vancouver island and took to Facebook to share the experience with others.

“Not your average everyday greenhouse tour today,” said the Agriculture Minister of the tour.

Letnick was touring the Tilray facility, which grows and processes medical marijuana for customers in Canada. The facility is only one of eight legal operations currently in British Columbia. The Nanaimo-based company delivers its product across the country via mail delivery.

Many people have taken to social media to comment on the photos, poking fun at the new age of agriculture in the province.
