CFIA expands flour recall for a fourth time

The food recall warning for various types of flour has been expanded again.

The original recall was announced on March 28th before being added to on April 4th and April 12th.
 


It was expanded once again on Sunday, with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) adding 16 new products to the recall list.

“The food recall warning issued on April 12, 2017 has been updated to include additional product information,” the CFIA said on its website. “This additional product information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation.”

Ardent Mills is recalling the different brands of flour and flour products due to a possible E. coli O121 contamination.

Consumers should not consume any product included in the recall and you’re advised to call your doctor if you think you’ve become sick from consuming one of the products.

The 16 new products on the recall list are listed below.
