Baby gym products recalled because rope 'may unexpectedly break'

A set of hanging gym products for children have been recalled after reports of their ropes breaking.

According to Health Canada, the Kinderfeets Hanging Gym Products present a “fall hazard.”

The rope “may unexpectedly break,” the agency said.

Anyone in possession of the items should immediately stop using them and contact Kinderfeets to arrange a return.

The company told Health Canada it has received three reports of the rope breaking as of March 28.

In one case, a skinned knee was reported.

The company said it sold about 400 of the affected products in Canada between August 2023 and March 2024.

They were made in China.
