Parents have been warned to immediately take two Disney character toys away from their kids by Health Canada.

The agency said the Donald and Daisy Duck figures could pose a choking hazard and should be returned to manufacturing giant Mattel as soon as possible.

The two toys come as part of a set including Goofy, Mickey Mouse and other figures, but only Donald and Daisy have been recalled.

“The heads of the Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures can become detached during use and pose a choking hazard,” Health Canada said in its public notice.

Mattel said that, as of March 21, there have been no reports of product detachments or injuries in Canada.

In the US, there have been three reports of the heads detaching.

More than 11,300 of the “Fisher-Price Little People Mickey and Friends” toy sets were sold in Canada between June 2023 and February 2024.

In the US, about 204,000 were sold.

Health Canada said anyone in possession of the toys should visit Mattel’s website for refund information.
