I've been a reporter in this dynamic city for 34 years, first in radio, at the Capital News for four years and then the Kelowna Daily Courier for 26 years.
It was Bryden Winsby, the news editor at the Capital News while I worked there, who convinced me that specializing was the way to go and minted me the business reporter.
