In January, we teased you that one of Okanagan's most distinctive wineries -- the 3D and psychedelic Vibrant Vine in East Kelowna -- was going to be listed for sale.

Well, this month, the 11.3-acres property at 3240 Pooley Rd. officially came on the market for a cool $13,500,000 on a joint listing with Jane Hoffman Realty and HM Commercial Group.

For the past 15 years, Wyn Lewis, who made his money in international banking, and his wife, Marion, have built The Vibrant Vine into a quirky, must-see with award-winning wines that have made it the No. 1 rated winery in BC on TripAdvisor.

It was a health scare for Wyn that prompted the decision to sell, finally retire and spend more time with family and travelling.

The Vibrant Vine made its mark with labels that completely shrink wrap the bottles with psychedelic, kaleidoscopic patterns designed by artist son Phil Lewis.

In 2013, a worker famously applied the shrink wrap upside down on bottles of an off-dry wine.

Rather than fix it, the winery embraced it and called the wine Woops.

For a lark, bottles with the upside down label were entered in the packaging contest of the World Beverage Competition in Geneva.

However, a mix up saw Woops entered in the main wine contest -- and it ended up winning 'best white wine in the world.'

The Vibrant Vine is also the world's only 3D winery.

Since the consciousness-expanding labels are also three-dimensional, guests to the winery are given 3D glasses to have a trippy wine tasting and shopping experience.

The winery part of the listing is touted as a turnkey business with on-site vineyard, production facility and warehouse, wine shop with six tasting bars, private tasting areas, two lounges, commercial kitchen, snack bar and extensive lawn and patio where concerts and events are held..

The Vibrant Vine also has secured leases on 20-30 acres of vineyard in the South Okanagan.

The residential part of the listing is for the luxury mansion the Wyns live in.

It's an Italian-style villa set in the vineyard that checks in an ultra-roomy 8,887-square-feet with five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, gym, chef's kitchen and entrance hall with 30-foot ceiling and Swarovski chandelier.

The two components of the listing -- quirky winery and opulent home -- of the means the buyer of the property will have to be unique and rich.
