Casual conscious eats are making their way to Kelowna's Lower Mission as popular Edmonton based restaurant KB&Co. announced they have secured a commercial space at The Shore.

KB&Co made its name providing fast but casual, plant-based wholesome food that nourishes and energizes without compromising flavour.

"From the beginning, I've always believed that Kelowna was a great market for this concept and contemplated starting KB&Co there first," said founder Kristina Botelho.

"Kelowna has always felt a bit more health conscious to me, and not just a feeling I'd get from the locals, but from tourists as well."

KB&Co. is well known for its relaxed atmosphere, serving up delicious vegan food to anyone with no judgments.

"We're meat, dairy, egg and also soy free. We'll be referred to as vegan which by default is true, however it doesn't properly represent who we are and what we do," explained Botelho.

"We've got years of quick serve restaurant experience and we know how to win you over... provide great food, amazing service, and an environment that makes you want to stay all day."

KB&Co. will be located at The Shore development steps away from Gyro Beach on Lakeshore Road in the Lower Mission.

"It'll be the perfect location for KB&Co and the best one in Kelowna (just in my humble opinion). It's very California and suits us well."
