1. Spain's COVID-19 death toll overtakes China

Spain has now joined Italy as the two world nations with the highest death tolls due to COVID-19. On Tuesday, the Spanish capital of Madrid recorded 272 deaths related to coronavirus, which is a higher total that recorded day in the COVID-19 epicentre of Wuhan. 

2. Fans celebrate the 15 year anniversary of The Office's debut 

Fans took the internet yesterday to share their favourite, and often most cringe worthy, moments from the hit comedy The Office as it celebrated 15 years since its premiere. From the Dundies to the infamous dinner party episode there was plenty to reminisce about, however, much of the attention surrounding the show's impending departure from Netflix at the end of 2020. According to Netflix, The Office is likely moving to NBC's new streaming service. 

3. NBA all-star Joel Embiid to donate $500,000 to COVID-19 medical relief

When the NBA's premier "big men" is proving he also has a big heart. The Philadelphia 76er's Joel Embiid has pledged $500K to support COVID-19 medical relief. He's also promised to help Sixers employees who have been asked to work for reduced salaries by the team's owners. 

4. Greta Thunberg has entered self-isolation following flu symptoms 

Global climate change activist Greta Thunberg has entered self isolation due to COVID-19 concerns. The 17-year-old announced that she and her father have experienced flu-like symptoms following a trip to central Europe. The pair have already spent several days in quarantine at their home in Sweden. 

5. Ellen's Game of Games premieres on NBC 

A new reality show from one of the world's most popular talk show hosts is already receiving rave reviews. Ellen DeGeneres' new show "Game of Games" made its debut on NBC Tuesday night featuring singer Halsey and a few stressful memory tests.
