A Canadian man has lost $12,000 to a cryptocurrency scam that fooled people into thinking it was endorsed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Stephen Henry, from Toronto, said seeing Trudeau attached to the scheme made him think "this has to be good."

2. Titanic door frame prop sells for close to $1M
The wooden door frame that saves the life of Kate Winslet's character in Titanic has been sold at auction for over $970,000. The prop, which has been the butt of many jokes about the movie over the years, was based on a piece of debris salvaged from the actual Titanic.

3. Flying car tech sold to China
Pioneering technology behind an advanced flying car has been sold to a Chinese firm. The European-designed AirCar, which has been successfully tested, will now be used within a "specific geographic region" of China.

4. Rescued hedgehog turns out to be part of a furry hat
Wildlife rescuers in the UK have been left hiding their blushes after discovering that the hedgehog they were caring for was actually part of a furry hat. The Lower Moss Nature Reserve and Wildlife Hospital said the fabric was provided with "all the love" and "some cosy TLC" before staff realized it wasn't, in fact, a baby hedgehog.

5. Popular streamer, 32, diagnosed with skin cancer
A popular US streamer has been diagnosed with cancer. Tyler Blevins (known as "Ninja"), who is 32, said a mole removed from his foot was found to be cancerous.
Ninja, the professional video game player and most-followed Twitch streamer in the world, revealed he was diagnosed with skin cancer.
