1. Starbucks issues an apology for racial slur on customer's cup

Starbucks has reportedly issued an apology after a Latino customer named Pedro received his order with a racial slur instead of his name printed on the cup. Instead of his given name, the cup read "Beaner", which is known as a racial towards Latin Americans. The Starbucks was located in a suburban Los Angeles neighbourhood. 

2. Alaska Airlines piloted by first-ever female African American flight crew

Alaska Airlines celebrated a major milestone this week when two African American women piloted a flight. Captain Tara Wright and first officer Mallory Cave made history for the airline during the flight between San Francisco to Portland, Oregon,

3. People are trying to figure out these photos from Daniel Radcliffe's new movie 

Whether he likes it or not, Daniel Radcliffe will always be known first as Harry Potter. However, the actor has taken on several interesting roles since his days at Hogwarts. Fans are now trying to wrap their heads around what exactly is happening in these photos from his latest movie Guns Akimbo.

4. Tampa Bay Lightning even the series on the road

Most NHL teams play all year for home ice advantage in the playoffs and the Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning are no different. However, home ice has not meant much in the teams Eastern Conference final showdown. After losing the first two games at home, Lightning struck twice in Washington to even the series at two games apiece. 

5. New York couple finds a rusty safe full of cash in their backyard

A couple from Staten Island, New York discovered a piece of rusty metal in their backyard and initially thought it was an electrical box. The outside was certainly rusty, but the inside was full with $52,000 in cash, gold and diamonds. In a plot twist, they actually returned the safe and its belongings.
