Alex Trebek has said he is “feeling good” in a new video addressing his illness.

The 78-year-old “Jeopardy!” host announced he had stage four pancreatic cancer at the beginning of March.

In his latest video, released on Wednesday, Trebek said he is already working on the next season of the popular trivia show.

“I want once again to thank you for your continuing messages of encouragement and support, particularly the many cards I’ve received from young people,” he said.

“I’m touched beyond words.”

He added that he is continuing with his therapy and is looking forward to returning in September.

Trebek, who has been the face of the show since 1984, acknowledged in March that the prognosis for stage four pancreatic cancer “is not very encouraging”.

But he added that he is “going to fight this” and “keep working.”
