Vancouver has finally been hit by old man winter and as usual, the city and its residents are struggling with the snow.

There’s been no shortage of hilariously awkward Vancouverites on the internet following the nearly 30 centimetres of snow that’s blanketed the city in the past 24hrs.

From swerving Lamborghinis to shoveling with lawn chairs, here's a quick look at the city's snow day.

While Vancouver's sky train operators will surely receive some points for innovation, there's a fair chance that using a hockey stick to de-ice the doors is not in the instruction manual.

Some city residents didn't even bother with the city's faltering public transit system, instead choosing a more tried and tested Canadian method of winter transportion.

Did we mention the Translink's performance during Vancouver's big snowfall was less than optimal.

Thankfully, the heavy snowfall is forecast to ease by Wednesday evening, however, there's still a high chance a few more hilarious videos featuring Vancouverites versus snow will surface before then.
