Hindsight is truly a funny thing, especially when it comes to sports predictions and opinions.

Last July, the Toronto Raptors made a blockbuster trade that saw the team send DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poetl to the San Antonio Spurs for Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green.

As there almost always is when a trade happens in professional sports, there were plenty of different opinions on the deal.

Despite acquiring the best player in Leonard, many Raptors fans were unhappy that the team dealt the beloved DeRozan for a guy who might up and leave after one year.

Eleven months later, the Raptors are NBA champions and Kawhi Leonard won his second career NBA Finals MVP award, cementing the fact that it was an incredible deal for Toronto.

Less than 24 hours after the historic win, fans have already gone back to the team’s Twitter announcement of the trade to roast those who thought it was a poor deal.

They’re also praising a few people who called it an incredible swap for the Raptors, but for the most part, the reactions were negative and they’re hilarious takes to look back on.

There's also dozens and dozens of replies that have been deleted, so we're guessing there were a few more terrible takes that fans scrambled to delete after last night's victory.

Here are some of the worst takes on the Leonard trade from July 2018:
