If you love the ski bum life and you’re sick of the expensive real estate prices in many parts of British Columbia, have we got the real estate listing to show you.

Spout Springs Ski Area in northern Oregon is up for sale with a price tag of just $1,250,000 USD.

While $1,250,000 is still a lot of money, it’s pocket change for a 1,413-acre ski resort that has 14 downhill runs, two nordic trail systems, two double chair lifts and lit-up slopes for night skiing.

It’s also equipped to host skiers and snowboarders, as there’s a 9,418-square-foot main lodge with a full service bar, lounge, restaurant and an owner’s suite.

There’s also a 3,450-square-foot ski and snowboard shop with rental equipment, along with a 1,026-square-foot ski patrol building.

The listing adds that there’s “significant equipment inventory” to run the ski area, including park equipment, medical supplies, fencing, signs, three Sno-Cats and plenty more.

Spout Spring Ski Area is easily accessible on state highways and near population centres of Walla Walla, Pendleton and La Grande.

The resort has been in continuous operation since the late 1920s and needs a buyer to step up to get it to the century mark!
