It looks like parts of Northern B.C. have skipped fall and went straight to winter.

Today, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for 100 Mile, Nicole and South Thompson stating that a cold front was crossing and places of higher elevation could be seeing snowfall.

A frost warning was also issued for Prince George yesterday.

While we all know snow is inevitable, we never think it will come this early. Even parts of Alberta saw an early Christmas!

I guess it’s time to dust off the winter coats and boots.
